Mentoring JuCiVol for professionals working with youngsters (18-30 years)

The project- JUCIVOL (2016-2018) initiated by iriv conseil together with the University of Burgos (Spain) is an Erasmus + project - Key Action 3 - Initiatives for policy innovation - Social inclusion through education, training and youth (2016-2018). It gathers a European team in Spain (leader), France (iriv conseil), Italy (Erifo), Cyprus (INEK PEO) and Slovenia (ZRC SAZU). It addresses professionals- mainly teachers and educators- working with young European Union citizens who are of migrant background and/or live in sensitive urban areas. After an overview on the situation of Volunteering among youngsters in the 5 countries (January-March 2017), a training to involve youngsters in voluntary actions was designed by iriv conseil in May 2017 then a mentoring for educators in July 2017. The mentoring is addressing professionals working with youngsters aged 16-30 years, living in sensitive urban areas in order for them to be able to and value the competences acquired thanks to a voluntary experience mainly focused on KC6- social and civic competences and KC7- sense of intiative and entrepreneurship on the basis of the training designed for youngsters for the JuCiVol.
