This 38th issue of our electronic review "les rives de l’iriv" is dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven as 2020 celebrates the 250th year of his birth (1770-2020). Born in Bonn (Germany) and dead in Vienna (Austria), his Symphony number 9, inspired by Friedrich Schiller's "Ode to Joy", became Europe's hymn together with a motto- « In varietate concordia ».
